Crosby-Ironton School District is seeking passionate, motivated educators to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are currently hiring multiple Elementary Teachers to serve students in grades K–6.

 

Position Summary

Elementary Teachers are responsible for creating a positive, engaging learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. Candidates should demonstrate strong instructional practices, classroom management skills, and a commitment to student success.

 

Essential Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with district curriculum
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Assess student learning and use data to guide instruction
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff
• Participate in professional development and school activities
• Support diverse learning needs and differentiated instruction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid MN teaching license in K-6 Elementary Education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to equity and student achievement
• Previous teaching experience preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with literacy and math intervention strategies
• Knowledge of classroom technology and instructional tools
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
